Cardiovascular disease is a silent killer. Forty-one percent of deaths in the United States each year are attributable to the complications of cardiovascular disease. These include strokes, ruptured aneurysms and heart attacks. At USC University Hospital, we have long led the field in the study, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

The Cardiovascular Department at USC University Hospital includes a large walk-in practice and several invasive and non-invasive procedure laboratories, including:

  • Cardiac catheterization
  • Echocardiography
  • Electrocardiography and arrhythmia
  • Exercise testing/nuclear cardiology

  • Positron Emission Tomography (PET) available in the Healthcare Consultation Center
