Jane Brust joins the hospital management team to lead public relations and marketing activities.
A public relations practitioner and marketer in academic health care for 25 years, she was recruited to USC in 2006 as associate senior vice president for health sciences public relations and marketing.
She assumes responsibility for promoting the hospitals as part of an expanded, integrated program to promote The Doctors of USC and the Keck School of Medicine through media relations, publications, internal communications, marketing, advertising and Web site development.
Brust has considerable experience in marketing academic medical centers, having led integrated communications and marketing programs at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is an active member of the Group on Institutional Advancement of the Association of American Medical Colleges.
