As a service line administrator, Donnell ensures that clinic programs provide for the coordinated delivery of care for patients from point of entry through discharge and improve operational efficiency. He also partners with physician leaders to create a stronger connection between the hospital and the medical staff, and brings to life the clinical vision of the department chairs.

Donnell joined USC in January of 2010, moving to Los Angeles from Milwaukee, where he served as director of Transplant Services at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital.
