As a service line administrator, Salaway ensures that clinic programs provide for the coordinated delivery of care for patients from point of entry through discharge and improve operational efficiency. He also partners with physician leaders to create a stronger connection between the hospital and the medical staff, and brings to life the clinical vision of the department chairs.

Salaway came to USC from Stanford University Medical Center, where he served as executive director of Cardiovascular and Neuroscience Services.
