Donald Larsen joins the management team as chief medical officer for the hospitals. His wide-ranging responsibilities include developing and implementing system-wide solutions to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and the academic environment for teaching programs.
Larsen, an interventional neuroradiologist and associate professor at the Keck School of Medicine, has been on faculty since 1998 and has served as medical director of The Doctors of USC since August 2006, providing leadership on such issues as medical quality, risk management, credentialing and peer review.
He will continue to serve in that role for The Doctors of USC as he assumes the medical director role for the hospitals.
