This is an exciting time for all of us at the USC University Hospital and USC Norris Cancer Hospital. We are celebrating a new beginning as the University of Southern California has assumed ownership of these two facilities staffed by the world renowned Doctors of USC and some 1,600 hospital personnel.

The purchase of these hospitals is one of the most significant single events in the University’s 129-year history, and marks the beginning of a new era of success in medical sciences at USC. I am privileged to serve as hospital CEO at this unique point in time. I look forward to working with our faculty, our staff and volunteers, our USC leadership and our community to create the premier academic medical center in the city of Los Angeles.
